Last year we started to allow a few vendors access to the Festival. We chose carefully from the applicants so we didn’t duplicate and tried to keep to the theme with what we are about. For food options we had Roasted Revolution who also competed and got a ribbon in the Homestyle Chili Championships. Their roasted corn on the cob was a hit and they mentioned they will be back again this year.
Also cooking up some great BBQ for our visitors was Guerilla Q. James and his team sold out both days so we believe folks loved his food. James said he’ll be back as well.
McCafe had their huge rig onsite serving out free hot chocolate, coffee and specialty beverages which was much appreciated by competitors, judges and visitors alike.
Cimpoe Gallery offered fine art by Peter Cimpoe. Sister Ileanna seemed to steal the show! Peter did a personal piece for the Festival for us to raffle off to help raise funds for the charity we support, The Young Burn Survivors Camp. It was very much appreciated by our fire fighter volunteer team and everyone involved. Their piece is the featured image at the top of this page.
