Canada’s Only Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) Sanctioned Event

This is the Canadian SCA Steak Championships is Canada’s SCA (Steak Cookoff Association) sanctioned event. The winner will qualify to cook at the SCA World Steak Cookoff Championships at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas.
Perfect grill marks are the norm for the steaks we see but a nice crisp crust is also perfectly acceptable. Unparalleled seasoning, marinating and resting separate the entries and usually by just a few points. All steaks must be cooked to a medium temperature of around 135 internal degrees. This makes for a more finite and discernable degree of doneness to judge. We encourage restaurants and individuals to come try cooking in this contest. Who wouldn’t like to have the title of Canadian SCA Steak Champion with the trophy and ribbon to prove it?
