The health and safety of event participants, including competitors, volunteers, judges, and attendees, is the highest priority of the Canadian Festival of Chili and BBQ teams. We’re sad to announce the postponement of the event, but it’s important to us to do our part to keep everyone healthy and continue with efforts to flatten the curve.

We have been working with KPU to reschedule this event for August 21 to 23rd, 2020. However, any events scheduled beyond the end of June may also be cancelled should the current restrictions continue. We will be providing updates from KPU on the first of each month regarding the notice of cancellation message.

At least one month will be provided to enable festival competitors and event attendees the time to make plans around the event.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
